Uganda Oct 2008

This part of the mission trip was cut short due to a family emergency.  God's faithfulness was so tender to me and my family during this time and He restored what the enemy sought to destroy.  Praise God!  His love endures forever. AMEN!  Some of the photos posted here are from past trips.

THE TRIP TO MUSISI!!!  IT'S A FUN ADVENTURE!

Ugandan cultural fun - the drive to Musisi, Uganda!
I love the way they display their fresh vegatables!  Lovely!
Loads like this are commonly carried on top a bicycle.
On my first few trips to Uganda the way these guys ran up to the car startled me.  But I learned this is "Ugandan Fast Food" and if you didn't stop - you were likely not going to eat!
Yes!  We need water.  Thanks!
Meat!  Pork, chicken, beef!

I think this is pork but when in doubt it is called 'mystery meat'.

This is my favorite!  It is a chicken leg and thigh.  Oh man this is so fresh and so good!  Seriously!
Ok - this is not real clear but that is a large monkey. I had seen him run across the road and took this side shot going by him at about 45 mph!  (Driver is on the right in Uganda)

This shot was taken as we drove through Mabira Forest on the way to Jinja. Likely a Grey-cheeked Mangabey.

MUSISI PRIMARY SCHOOL!

These are the villagers of the beloved Musisi, Uganda.
This is "Momma" Pastor David Okecho's mother who I love dearly.
When I showed Momma this picture of herself she got the biggest grin on her face.
Momma's great-grandaughter.
